Horst Excavating is seeking a dedicated Superintendent to manage on-site earth moving activities, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards outlined in contract documents.

Key Responsibilities :

Managerial Skills Expectations :

• Safety Leadership : Act as or supervise Horst Excavating's competent safety person on site, maintaining activities in accordance with company safety policy and project-specific safety plans.
• Daily Coordination : Schedule and coordinate daily work activities, including subcontractor work and deliveries, ensuring conformance with the project schedule.
• Productivity Monitoring : Communicate estimated productivity rates for self-performed work to employees and monitor conformance to these rates.
• Team Development : Foster a positive working atmosphere, work schedule, and habits. Mentor foremen to develop their leadership and managerial skills, supporting their growth into positions of increased responsibility.
