Senior Software Engineer, Rights and Pricing - Apple Services Engineering

Description

The Rights & Pricing engineering team provides the Apple Services platform for distribution rights by country, calculation and management of prices including retail, offers, wholesale, and tax. Rights & Pricing also includes Partner Onboarding which includes the vendor application process, signing of digital contracts, collection of bank account and tax information, and business systems that manage the presentation layers of payments, invoicing, and financial reporting. This is a key team for Apple Services Engineering! Minimum Qualifications

• BS / MS / PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, etc.) and 8+ years of experience
• Proven track record of leading successful AI / ML projects from conception to deployment
• Experience in working with AI / ML frameworks, tools, and programming languages (for example : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python)
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering and AI API integration
• Experience with AI code assistants (for example : GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
• Knowledge of AI assisted testing, debugging, code review, and documentation
• Experience working with distributed NoSQL and relational databases
• Experience programming in multi-threaded synchronous and asynchronous applications
• Experience developing and designing for large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with Unix / Unix-like operating systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
