About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to join a collaborative and supportive team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient care, including emergency coverage, obstetric and gynecologic management, and collaboration with specialty partners within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour in-house OB Emergency Department (OB ED) coverage

Manage obstetric emergencies and triage OB cases efficiently

Evaluate and manage inpatient obstetric patients

Attend deliveries (low volume due to strong community OB support)

Assist in gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures

Monitor fetal well-being and manage labor progression in private labor and delivery suites

Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists

Partner with pediatric subspecialists supporting a Level III NICU

Maintain seamless communication and coordination within a multidisciplinary care team

Workload : Average of 7–8 24-hour shifts per month (2190 hours annually); minimum 6 shifts / month (1728 hours annually) for benefits eligibility

Job Requirements

Required : Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in OB-GYN

Required : Active California Medical License at time of application (or clearly noted if in process)

Clean malpractice and license history preferred

Demonstrated ability and interest in full-time employment
