Experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant

We are seeking an experienced bilingual medical assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language to assist with effective communication between patients and medical staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or associate degree in medical assisting is a plus
• Proven experience working as a medical assistant
• Fluent in English and another language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in basic computer skills and medical software

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care and examinations
• Take and record vital signs
• Prepare patients for medical procedures
• Maintain medical records and documentation accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Provide general administrative support as needed
