Saint Kate is seeking a Lead Server for The Studio, our signature restaurant on the second floor. The Studio offers classic American cuisine with seasonal flavors in Milwaukee’s Theater District, delivering refined yet warm hospitality. As a Lead Server, you will provide exceptional service and support the front-of-house team to create memorable dining experiences.

Lead the service team with professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine engagement to every guest.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead by example by providing professional, attentive, and engaging service to all guests.
• Act as a mentor and role model for servers and server assistants, supporting training and development.
• Assist management with daily floor operations, including table assignments, pacing, and guest flow.
• Monitor service quality and provide on-the-spot coaching to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Communicate clearly with the culinary team, bartenders, and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve concerns with professionalism.
• Assist with side work, opening / closing duties, and ensuring service areas are clean and organized.
• Support management with additional duties as needed.
