Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled  Dietitian  to join an  acute / academic medical center  in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing expert nutritional care in an inpatient / critical care setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education :  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition / Dietetics.
  • Licensure :  Must hold (or be eligible for)  New York State Certified Dietitian–Nutritionist (CDN)  credential.
  • Certification :   Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)  required.
  • Experience :  Minimum  2 years  in an  inpatient / critical care  setting.
  • Technical Skills :  Strong clinical nutrition assessment and intervention skills.
  • Soft Skills :  Excellent  communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making  abilities.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct  nutritional assessments  and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide  medical nutrition therapy  for acute / critical care patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on  therapeutic diets and nutrition support .
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies.
