Morgan Distributing, Inc. is an ExxonMobil Lubricant Distributor headquartered in Decatur, Illinois with 3 additional locations in Fairfield, Illinois, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Valparaiso, Indiana.

We are currently seeking a Reliability Services Technician in Decatur, Illinois.

This position is responsible for the safe / efficient operation in the Reliability Services Department under the direction of the Vice President of Operations.  The Reliability Services Technician will also work with MDI Territory Managers in respect to keeping them informed of progress on jobs that are taking place at customer sites that the Territory Manager stewards.  All job requests requiring pricing / quotes that involve the need for Reliability Services will be communicated to the applicable Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • A keen understanding of mechanical practices with regards to machinery and preventative maintenance.
  • Operation and Cleaning of the Hy-Pro Vac-U-Dry at job sites and at MDI facilities.
  • Operation and Cleaning of the COMO filtration machine at job sites and at MDI facilities.
  • Oil sample pulling from machines / reservoirs at job sites where Reliability Services are / will be performed.
  • Installation of DesCase & Perma products at customer sites which includes the regular inspection and change out of units as required.
  • Ability to travel to sites and overnight depending on location and job.
  • Following all safety protocols at all facilities that you are working at.
  • Securing WANDA for safe transportation each and every time in the trailer built to transport WANDA
  • Transportation of WANDA and the COMO to and from job sites
  • Ability to travel to sites and overnight depending on location and job
  • Perform other job duties that are deemed Reliability Services as the department develops

    • Work Environment :

    This job operates in several different locations including but not limited to industrial plants, commercial locations and MDI facilities.

    There is year round exposure to all elements of weather.  All necessary PPE (Hard Hat, Eye / Ear Protections, etc.) is provided and must be worn as required.

    Expected Hours of Work :

    Hours of work are determined by the Vice President of Operations.

    Core Hours include : 7 : 00 AM -4 : 00 PM

    There will / may be additional hours required based on the jobs being performed and the locations that those jobs are located at.

    Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Maintain Valid Driver’s License CDL Class B minimum
  • Millwright and / or maintenance experience is required

    • Salary Range :

    $55,000-$65,000 annually
