Director of Educational Strategy

We are looking for an academic leader to drive evidence‑based learning at 2 Hour Learning, a company delivering AI‑driven personalized education that lets students master academics in only two hours a day. This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) role for an independent contractor.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design academic frameworks that translate learning science principles into actionable direction for curriculum development, motivational systems, and application architecture.
- Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑oriented.
- Integrate data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive ecosystem assessments that identify barriers to accelerated learning and recommend interventions.
- Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serve as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education.

Offloading accountability to mid‑level managers or external advisors.Relying on institutional credibility or academic theory to convince stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning’s validated academic model by coordinating execution across school sites, raising leadership performance standards, and serving as the authoritative public advocate for evidence‑based learning science.
Basic Requirements
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.Track record of public thought leadership (media, keynotes, books, or advising).Strong performance‑management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.Nice‑to‑have Requirements
Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture.Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.Deep familiarity with Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks.About 2 Hour Learning

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) position, immediately available, and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
