Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant, under a physician’s direction / supervision, shall assist in medical and surgical care of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting as outlined in the Job Specific Performance Expectations below and will participate in all aspects of patient care as indicated.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners Physician Assistant, Class 1 License required.

2. Board Certification : National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc. required.

4. Minimum of five years (5) years in cardiovascular surgery as a PA is preferred.
