Key Responsibilities

Lead outreach strategy and build relationships with lawmakers and allies in Democrat-controlled states

Drive internal alignment across teams by running monthly task force meetings and ensuring consistent messaging

Partner with federal affairs to share state-level intelligence and translate insights into federal accountability

Required Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in state government affairs or policy advocacy

Strong knowledge of state policymaking and political dynamics

Proven ability to build strategic relationships in challenging political environments

Comfortable using technology for project management and data tracking

Willingness to travel regularly, up to 50 percent of the time
