    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments based on condition and facility protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Administer physician-ordered treatments, procedures, and medications accurately and timely.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans.
  • Document patient care, interventions, and progress using appropriate medical records.
  • Initiate emergency protocols and resuscitative measures as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity, rights, and safety standards.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LVNs and non-professional staff.
  • Coordinate with other departments for patient procedures and transfers.
  • Adhere to infection control and medication administration policies.
  • Attend mandatory inservices, meetings, and maintain up-to-date certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including supporting other nursing departments when needed.

    • Experience Required : \nMinimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience preferred.\n\nPrior experience in Medical-Surgical unit strongly preferred.\n\nExperience supervising LVNs and support staff in patient care settings is desirable.\n\nQualifications : \nGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.\n\nCurrent, active RN license in good standing with the state of California.\n\nCurrent CPR certification (required).\n\nAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within one year of hire).\n\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data documentation.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
