Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Metro Atlanta, GA, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students throughout the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This position is ideal for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP looking to gain valuable school-based experience. Please note that Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring to track student improvement
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
  • Participate actively in team meetings and parent conferences

Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent state licensure
  • Clinical Fellowship Year SLP candidates are welcome; SLPAs are not eligible
  • Experience or interest in school-based therapy preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the school year

  • Several openings are available at various schools throughout Metro Atlanta, allowing for preferences regarding caseload and location
  • Duration :

  • Contract position covering the full school year (25-26 weeks)
