DCS Advanced Field Service Engineer Pascagoula, MS

Description

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer you will perform maintenance audits configuration programming installation / commissioning upgrades and migration of complex / advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS TPS / TDC300).

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and youll work out of our Pascagoula MS location on an on-site work schedule.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues.
• Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues / inquiries.
• Configure maintain and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware networks and software including Experion PKS LCN and TPS.
• Upgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customers industrial process.
• Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywells new technology offering.
• Develop the skills and talents of other engineers through guidance and on-the-job supervision.
• Understand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities providing timely research and recommendations.
• Assist Sales during sales pursuits.
• Be the face of Honeywell to end-users and competitors.
• Learn end-to-end product / solution development and delivery / execution of Honeywell products and solutions.
• Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions / product offerings to enhance customer experience.
• Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
• Publish reporting to customers including service reports and monthly performance reports.
• Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers.
