Overview

Landscape Crew Leader at LSI - Landscape Services Inc. base pay range is $20.00 / hr - $25.00 / hr . LSI is a national award-winning, second-generation family-owned and operated grounds management firm headquartered in Nashville, TN since 1988. We offer full-time, year-round employment with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all maintenance care service activities of the crew – ensure crew members have the required safety materials, training, and tools, and that work is performed safely at all times.
  • Reviewing and managing time sheets.
  • Complete a pre-trip inspection report weekly before dispatch at the beginning of the week.
  • Coordinate with account managers, supervisors, customers, and employees as needed.
  • Operate landscaping tools and heavy equipment as required.
  • Safely drive crews to and from jobs, following the company's safety policy and ensuring the public's safety around crews.
  • Cut lawns using various size power mowers; trim / edge along walkways, driveways, and curves.
  • Clean up areas after trimming using leaf blowers and pick up trash on properties; perform leaf removal.
  • Assist with trimming bushes and clean up as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.
  • Management experience is preferred.

    • Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Physical requirements : ability to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and communicate; ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
