Speech Language Pathologist (PRN)
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-PRN) works to ensure the identification of and accommodation of eligible children and their families. The SLP is responsible for evaluation, assessment, and / or treatment programming for infants and toddlers living within the two county catchment area of Project G.R.O.W. ECI. The SLP is responsible for providing training to program personnel, consultants, and families as a member of the Trans / Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). The areas of training are to include : communication / language development, sensory and oral motor, positioning, and assistive technology devices / services. SLP is responsible for active treatment and documentation of service delivery and needs. They work under the general supervision of a Program Supervisor or Program Director, uses professional initiative, independent judgment, and travels within the assigned catchment area. SLP provides supervision and oversight for Speech Language Pathology Assistants, students, and / or interns. SLP is responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy. Working hours will vary if PRN. Bilingual SLP must be competent to interpret English / Spanish as determined by achieving a language proficiency of "limited working" or above on the MasterWord Spanish Proficiency Assessment and will receive a stipend.
