Salary : $140k+ DOE
Job Summary
Provide project management / eld support services for wet utility projects (water, sewer, storm drain), including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, tracking, procurement, document control, quality, and managing multiple projects.
Essential Functions
- Read project contract and standard or special provisions as well as all project documents and client / customer requirements. Enforce the terms of the contract.
- Approve construction master schedule, project budget, subcontract agreements, and monthly pay applications for work completed.
- Attend progress meetings with owner / client and internal meetings to monitor the progress of work based on the construction schedule and address any issues / questions as they arise.
- Control eld costs, schedule, and quality to ensure project objectives are being met.
- Complete project forecasts, cost to complete, anticipated prot, and close out documentation.
- Assist with the preparation / development of the Statement of Qualications (SOQ) through the development of the project specic approach.
- Assist in the preparation / development of Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), to include Design- Build (DB), Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
- Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of Design Phase Services Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal / budgets.
- Participate in the pre-construction services management activities through scoping meetings, pre-bid meetings, design review meetings, comment resolution meetings, as well as reviewing all project documentation.
- Assist in maintaining the ow of design documentation and pre-construction service deliverables.
- Maintain eective communication with the Division Manager and other key team members by : attending construction progress review meetings on a regular basis, actively participating in discussions of any problem areas and recommendations for solving them, promptly informing Division Manager of unforeseen construction events and / or problems that cant be resolved with the owner / client, report to Division Manager monthly the actual estimate of the project costs versus the original estimate.

All problems / issues must be brought into the open and resolved as soon as possible.Anticipate and minimize potential negative problems with eld activities, owner / employee attitudes, or other outside factors.Promote and procure growth through Business Development.Promote a site safety program to help maintain a safe site in compliance with company, client / customer and government requirements and regulations with the help of the Assistant Project Manager, General Superintendent, Superintendent, Foreman, and Safety.Mentor the development of the Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.Requirements
Bachelors degree in construction management or engineering preferred10+ years experience in wet utility project managementProfitable project recordAbility to manage multiple jobs at a timeAttention to detail and high sense of urgencyExperience scheduling, forecasting, and submittalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience with B2W, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft ProjectStrong customer focus and the ability to establish / maintain relationships with team members, contractors, officials, vendors, and other outside contactsTeam playerCulture Index
