Directional Drill Operator / Locator Summary :

Utility contracting is seeking a full-time Horizontal Directional Drill Operator / Locator who is interested in building a long-term career in the HDD industry. This job is on-site throughout the state of Michigan.

Directional Drill Operator / Locator Pay & Perks :

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience

Total Compensation Package Range $32.24-$37.99

Directional Drill Operator / Locator Qualifications :

Must have experience operating HDD or similar equipment

Clean Insurable driving record

Must have a CDL Class A License

Must be willing to work overtime, be on-call, and travel

Must be team-oriented

Directional Drill Operator / Locator

Duties :

Operate Drilling equipment

Locate the bore path for the Drilling equipment

Preform daily maintenance on all jobsite equipment and vehicles

Ensure proper bore rig set-up, & fluid mixing

Ensure proper piloting and down-hole reaming to maximize daily production

Able to operate HDD Tracking systems

Able to locate and pothole necessary utility lines

Demonstrate good judgment in the field

Work as a team in tandem with the crew foreman and other crew members

Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies

We provide construction services that include : Vacuum excavation, Locating, Fiber splicing, Aerial placing / wrecking, Directional drilling, Plowing, and much more. Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours : 45 - 55 per week

Experience :

• Horizontal drilling : 3 years (Required)

License / Certification :

• CDL A License (Required)
