About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll lead and oversee commercial electrical projects across various locations, ensuring high-quality installations, safety compliance, and on-time delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, site superintendents, and field crews to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and traveling to new project sites.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise teams of journeymen, electricians, and apprentices on commercial job sites.
Oversee installation of service wiring, conduits, fixtures, panels, and electrical systems.
Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams to complete installations.
Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds National Electrical Code (NEC) and local standards.
Manage job progress, materials, and manpower to maintain schedule and budget.
Complete daily reports, look-aheads, and documentation accurately.
Conduct weekly toolbox talks and enforce OSHA and company safety regulations.
Collaborate with management on project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Train, mentor, and guide electricians to ensure quality craftsmanship and growth.
Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial construction.
Master Electrician License preferred (not required).
Proven experience leading crews on commercial or industrial projects.
Strong understanding of NEC codes , electrical systems, and construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
Proficient with tools and equipment such as conduit benders, wire tuggers, and hydraulic tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively (75–90%).
Must provide personal hand tools and maintain PPE compliance at all times.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling, overhead work).
Comfortable working at heights up to 90 feet on ladders, scaffolds, or lifts.
Capable of working in confined spaces and all weather conditions.
Must be able to work 8–10 hour days , with potential overtime and night shifts.
