American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active ARRT and BLS certifications for a Level 3 trauma center assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting within the Radiology departmentAssignment includes General Radiology (x-ray), outpatient clinic, inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy, outpatient ortho clinic, ER, CCU, and OR with 34 roomsRotation through different areas weekly with coverage as neededTrauma Level 3 environment with diverse patient populationsCovers general, fluoroscopy, OR, and portable imagingEquipment includes Philips DR and CR x-ray rooms, GE DR portables, Ziehm and GE / OEC C-arms, and Siemens O-armAverage volumes : OR (with C-arm) 6-7 cases / day, fluoroscopy 10 exams / day, general x-ray 73 studies / dayUses Cerner Power Chart, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS5x8 hour variable day shifts between 7 : 00 AM and 9 : 00 AM start times, with weekend, call, and holiday requirementsRole includes performing diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging in a high-volume, fast-paced settingCollaborate with a team including leads and in-house radiologistsDaily orientation rotation during the first week to cover all modalities and areasOR scrubs are provided; wear navy or gray scrubs in other areasMay be required to cover weekends, holidays, and take call as needed\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT and BLS certifications requiredActive Washington state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicableMinimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience covering general radiology, fluoroscopy, OR (C-arm / O-arm), and portablesAbility to rotate and independently cover all core areas including outpatient and emergency radiologyER experience preferredComfort with digital radiography (DR / CR), fluoroscopy equipment, and operating room imaging workflowReferences required : one supervisor from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehireCopy of driver's license required for consideration\n Benefits\n
