Schedule : Full Time

Shift : 8am to 5pm Monday, Thru, Friday and Saturday. 8am to 12pm on a rotational basis. (1-2 Saturdays per month)

The role you'll contribute : The Lead Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients / families to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients. This position provides direct patient care and leads front-line staff in day-to-day clinical operations. In addition, this position delegates duties to office staff, manages operational issues, and ensures adherence to clinic quality, regulatory, billing, and customer service standards. This role serves as the point of contact for daily clinic operations, assessing and resolving issues or escalating them as needed.

  • Assesses patients physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
  • Evaluates patients response and reports to responsible provider to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including vital signs, minor treatments / procedures, prevention services, pre-visit planning, post-visit follow-up, and medication refills per protocol.
  • Promotes, advocates, and collaborates to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.

    • Qualifications

    The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :

  • High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
  • 3 years of related work experience [Required]
  • Basic Life Support- CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) [Required] OR
  • American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) [Required] OR
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT) [Required] OR
  • National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) [Required] OR
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA) [Required] OR
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) [Required]
