This position is responsible for all facets of guest movement throughout the fitness environment, fitness reception desk, service scheduling, and the departure process. Assist with overall communication in the fitness area ensuring 5-Star Standards are maintained.

Maintain current knowledge of all Fitness policies and proceduresMaintain current knowledge of all Spa and Salon services including treatments, spa amenities, staff abilities, fitness classes, hours of operations, spa retail, etc.Schedule accurately Fitness appointments for future guestsConfirmation of appointments based on current procedureReceive incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, demonstrating proper phone etiquetteTake messages for guests and staff, ensuring deliver in a timely mannerLearn the names and personally recognize our regular Guests and MembersWarmly greet and assist guests and members with any reservations, questions, spa arrivals and departuresEscort guests and members to appropriate waiting areas, and / or lounge to prepare for servicesPromote additional treatments to ensure guest returnMaintain guest areas in excellent conditionPromote retail sales to guests and membersInform supervisor of any business items that need to be orderedRead communication logbooks and provide follow through on action itemsConduct tours of the facilityAlert supervisor to any potential problems or concernsMaintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one's abilityIf applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support)Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areasUphold appropriate departmental standards of quality / timingUphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and proceduresReport all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediatelyAttends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvementWilling and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadershipPhysical Requirements :
Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periodsAbility to effectively operate all hotel computer systemsAbility to provide simple math calculationsIf applicable, must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levelsAbility to lift, carry, pull and push up to 25 lbs intermittently throughout a shiftAbility to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbalMay be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazardsAbility to maintain compliance with Sea Island's Company Resort Professional Image PolicyQualifications
