HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Santa Monica, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 19 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days, flexible Employment Type : Travel Title : CT Technologist Location : Santa Monica, CA Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 – 15 : 30) / Mid 5x8-Hour (15 : 00 – 23 : 30) – Variable start times. Every other weekend required. Job Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital setting. Conduct general CT imaging, stroke center protocols, and specialized procedures including biopsies, drains, ablations, Mako protocols, CTA Coronary, and transplant-related studies. Support both inpatients and outpatients, working within a comprehensive stroke center with 234 beds. Assist with IR-supported procedures such as biopsies and ablations. Document imaging studies accurately using Epic and manage patient care within scope of CT Tech role. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, IV Teams, Rapid Response, and other support services. Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and proper use of contrast media. Float between facilities within the state if required. Required / Preferred Skills & Information : Minimum 1 year of experience as CT Technologist; hospital experience required. Travel experience required (no first-time travelers). Certifications : ARRT (R) with CT license – REQUIRED, BLS. (CRT Fluoroscopy preferred). Charting system : Epic. Experience with Philips scanners (Big Bore 16, Brilliance 64). Must have California ARRT CT license. Teaching and community hospital experience preferred. Weekend coverage : every other weekend.
