Material Handler

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our client as a Sawyer / Material Handler. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate sawing equipment to cut and prepare materials according to specifications, as well as to handle, move, and organize a variety of materials within the facility.

Responsibilities :

Operate sawing equipment to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to provided specifications.

Inspect materials for quality and accuracy of cuts, adjusting as necessary.

Handle and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.

Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management and optimal use of space.

Assist in loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks or other transportation vehicles.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience operating sawing equipment and handling materials in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.

Proficiency in using forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
