Description : Unit Information :

The unit has a total of 146 beds, with a mix of Level 3, Level 4, and Level 2 acuity.

The staff consists of nurses, charge nurses, clerks, and nurse technicians.

Patient ratios vary by acuity, ranging from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4.

The unit is equipped with all necessary NICU equipment and utilizes an electronic medical record system.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be great team players.

A focus on parent satisfaction and patient safety is essential.

Preferred skills include Level 4 NICU experience and previous experience in similar settings.

Typical procedures performed include lumbar puncture, central line placement, circumcision, and eye exams.

Weekend shift requirements include a minimum of four weekend shifts and two weekday shifts within a four-week schedule.
