• Required Certifications : ASCP-MLT, State licensed, ASCP MT, ASCP-MLS
• Required Skills : Hospital clinical , ABO / Rh / Antibody Screen & ID, AHG Crossmatch, Antibody Typing : Tube Method, Antigen Typing, Blood banking procedures, Cord Blood Evaluation, Crossmatch-Immediate Spin / IgG, Direct Coombs (DAT), Indirect Coombs Test, Rhogam Screening, Thawing / Cooling of Blood Products, Transfusion Reaction Workup, Cardiac Enzymes, Review & Interpretation of QC, Specimen Preparation, Automated Instrument Use, Manual Differential, Pregnancy test (urine or blood), Gram Stain, Accessioning, Pipetting, Specimen Receipt, Specimen Transport, Reporting test results, Analyzer, Microscopic UA, Blood specimen storage, Hazardous materials and MSDS, Proper disposal, Proper labeling, Quality assurance and controls
