About the Role
OTTO Quotes AI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive data-informed decision-making and machine learning initiatives across our growing platform. This role will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design experiments, build models, and translate complex data into actionable insights that directly impact performance and growth.
The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and highly collaborative — someone who not only builds models but also understands how those insights integrate into product workflows and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to enhance automation, personalization, and lead optimization.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define and implement data-driven tools, dashboards, and internal systems.
- Translate complex data outputs into clear, actionable insights that inform product and business strategy.
- Own experiment design and A / B testing across multiple channels, ensuring statistically sound results and recommendations.
- Build and maintain scalable, high-quality data pipelines that ensure data accuracy, availability, and reproducibility.
- Communicate analytical findings to cross-functional stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
- Contribute to the development of data standards, documentation, and governance practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for model improvements, data enhancements, and new analytical use cases.
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning (preferably in high-growth or performance-driven environments).Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).Strong background in statistical modeling, A / B testing, and experiment design.Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to deploy models and analytical features.Proven ability to translate technical outputs into actionable recommendations for business and product stakeholders.Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems and modern ML frameworks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in lead generation, ad-tech, or insurance technology is a strong plus.If this sounds like you, you should apply :
