The Optometrist focuses on delivering primary vision care as part of Crossover's patient-centered medical home.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides primary vision care
• Conducts eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases
• Measures patients visual perception, acuity, focus and coordination ability
• Analyzes test results and develops a treatment plan
• Utilizes diagnostic procedures and eye drops to aid in the diagnosis of vision problems and prescribes pharmaceutics to treat eye diseases
• Diagnoses conditions caused by systemic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, referring patients to other health practitioners in Crossover's practice as needed
• Ensures clinic areas and instrumentation meet quality compliance standards
• Manages communication with patients, other Crossover practitioners, and optical partners to support quality clinical care
• Committed to patient satisfaction, providing excellent service and delivering an outstanding eye care experience
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Job Requirements

The base pay range for this position is $67.18 to $87 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 401K.
