Senior Mainframe Developer

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join their innovative IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze user and business requirements for the Claims domain and translate them into technical specifications and design documents

Design, develop, test, and debug mainframe applications, mentoring junior developers in coding practices

Liaise with project managers and business analysts to gather requirements and optimize existing mainframe applications for performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in mainframe development, including Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS

Proficiency with IBM mainframe tools such as z / OS, ISPF, TSO, File-aid, and SCM

Experience in healthcare claims and their associated systems

Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
