Project Manager II - Wastewater Enterprise Oceanside Treatment Plant - Infrastructure - San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (5504) (158824). Exempt appointment up to 36 months. Location : San Francisco, CA. This project involves managing capital improvement wastewater treatment facilities projects in the Oceanside region as part of the WWE Capital Program.
Job Description
The Project Manager II (PM II) is responsible for managing and administering approximately $95M in capital improvement treatment facilities projects at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant (OSP) and related facilities. The PM II leads efforts under the general administrative direction of a Principal Project Manager IV, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and SFPUC leadership to deliver scope on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities include overseeing project budget, schedule, scope, and quality; preparing budget / schedule updates and scope analyses; conducting environmental studies and evaluating project alternatives; facilitating land / rights / contract support; developing 100% construction documents; supporting bidding and contract awards; managing construction and start-up activities; and providing ongoing project closedown support. Projects include HVAC upgrades, odor control upgrades, safety monitoring and communication system upgrades, and oxygen system upgrades within the OSP, with multiple facilities involved.
