This role will be responsible for
Marketing and selling specialty ingredients across the food, personal care, and pharmaceutical industriesDeveloping, managing, and strengthening business-critical customer relationshipsIdentifying key accounts and shaping strategic plans to grow and protect businessDriving new business opportunities through prospecting, application development, and solution-oriented sellingAssisting customers with technical formulas, troubleshooting, and product application supportMaintaining CRM records for leads, opportunities, and customer interactionsReporting market intelligence including competitor activity, customer trends, and industry developmentsCollaborating cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, R&D, Technical Services, and other internal teamsParticipating in trade associations and industry events to elevate presence and expertiseExpectations will include
Living within the Northeastern United States territoryTraveling 40%+ for customer visits, meetings, trainings, conferences, and tradeshowsMaintaining a high level of product and market knowledgeProviding exceptional customer service and timely communicationConsistently meeting sales goals while proactively pursuing new opportunitiesRepresenting the organization professionally in all customer and industry interactionsA qualified candidate will possess the following
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study5+ years of technical B2B ingredients sales experience within the food sectorStrong communication and persuasive presentation skillsProven ability to build and maintain professional networks and customer relationshipsStrategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and anticipate market needsHighly action-oriented, results-driven, and skilled at managing a dynamic sales pipelineCommitment to ongoing personal development and industry learningCandidates must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for the Sales Executive job.Compensation : $145,600 per year
