Responsibilities

The Driver, Linehaul is responsible for operating a commercial vehicle over state lines to deliver freight in an efficient, timely manner from one location to another. As a Driver, Linehaul, it is essential to abide by all traffic laws and perform regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

SUPERVISION

The position functions with supervision and has no direct reports.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License; HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements preferred (LCV requirements may apply).

TRAVEL

Periodic travel up to 90% required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee will also be exposed to various terrains, including, but not limited to, mountains, steeply inclined roads, curvy highways, desert areas, bridges, tunnels, etc. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to loud as required by the essential functions of the job.
