Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist or Nursing Home Physician to join a nursing home team in Bronx, New York. Residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
~ Consult with patients to assess symptoms and health concerns
~ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including infections, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes
~ Prescribe medication, therapies, and specialized medical care
~ Communicate test results, procedures, and treatment plans clearly with patients
~ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
~ Provide preventive care and wellness advice
~ Administer immunizations
~ Maintain detailed patient records and clinical documentation
~ Refer patients to specialists when necessary
~ Support patients receiving long-term care
~ Prepare official medical documentation
~ Participate in research and development of new treatments or procedures
