Were currently seeking a highly motivated Cost Manager located in Seattle, WA .

In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Finance or related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction cost control, estimating, or quantity surveyingProven experience working on commercial, infrastructure, or public works projectsProficiency in cost management tools such as Procore, e-Builder, Sage, or equivalentStrong knowledge of construction contracts, methods, materials, and regulationsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and forecastingExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Professional certification such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional), MRICS, or similarExperience in sustainable construction practices and LEED-certified projectsFamiliarity with state and local construction codes and public procurement processesResponsibilities :
Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts throughout all phases of constructionPrepare cost estimates and cash flow projections for new and ongoing projectsConduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to identify cost-saving opportunitiesTrack and report on project costs, variances, and changes; prepare monthly cost reports for internal and client reviewEvaluate contractor bids, payment applications, and change orders for accuracy and complianceSupport procurement strategy and assist in contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractorsCollaborate with project managers, schedulers, and field staff to ensure alignment of cost data with project progressEnsure adherence to company financial procedures, audit compliance, and client reporting standardsMaintain and update historical cost databases and benchmarking dataAttend client and team meetings to present cost-related data and provide expert adviceSalary :
$70.00 - $80.00 / hourBonus Pay :
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
