Job Title : Quality Inspector
Location : Saint Paul MN 55117 - Onsite
Contract Duration : 06 months contract with possible extension
Pay Range : $30-32 / hr. on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Shift : 7 am to 3 : 30 pm
Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and high-caliber Inspector to perform routine inspections of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical materials, components, and sub-assemblies. This position ensures products meet quality assurance and regulatory standards throughout receipt, in-process manufacturing, and final production. Our ideal candidate is detail-driven, collaborative, and motivated to make an impact within a fast-paced, team-oriented, and progressive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Conduct visual inspection of precision metal frame components and other materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Use magnification equipment (10x20x) to inspect components for defects and quality conformance.
Review paperwork and documentation provided by material suppliers.
Document findings accurately and escalate nonconformances as required.
Maintain inspection logs, reports, and quality records.
Follow established quality assurance procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Work within a controlled cleanroom environment; gowning required up to ~80% of work time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in manufacturing or related disciplines.
Experience performing inspections under magnification (10x20x).
Prior experience working in a controlled cleanroom environment highly preferred.
Ability to wear full cleanroom gowning (gown, face mask, hair net, booties, safety glasses, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow quality procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
