Registered Nurse, Infusion

Job Description

The Registered Nurse, Infusion specializes in the administration of medications and various IV therapies, including chemotherapy and vitamin therapy. This role involves serving as a key member of the care team within an infusion outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Review medical records and assist with planning medical care in the infusion outpatient clinic.
  • Perform physical assessments and operate tools that navigate through blood vessels to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Review infusion procedures to ensure safety and maintain clinical competency.
  • Insert IV therapies and PCC lines, assess patient conditions, and operate imaging equipment.
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.

Essential Skills

  • Registered Nurse with expertise in Oncology nursing and Critical Care.
  • Experience in Radiology and Endovascular procedures.
  • Proficiency in coding, patient care, and electronic health record management.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school or program.
  • Qualified by education, training, or experience to work with adolescent, adult, and / or geriatric patient populations as specialty assignment dictates.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a critical care environment or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • Wound care certification is required.
  • Work Environment

    This role is situated in a Level 1 trauma center with over 400 beds, offering a dynamic and challenging environment for professionals dedicated to patient care. Opportunities for contract or direct hire are available.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 / hr.
