River City Community Church is seeking a spiritually mature Christian leader, who will oversee the campus maintenance and security for the Real Life Center. The Real Life Center is a 110-acre campus with 180,000 square feet of buildings which serve four non-profit organizations : River City Community Church, River City Believers Academy, Real Life Community Outreach, and the Real Life Center for the Performing Arts.

About Us

River City Community Church was started in 1995 as a small group in the home of Sean and Lauri Azzaro. Today it owns and operates the Real Life Center which includes a thriving Christian church which averages 1,500 people per weekend. The private Christian school is PreK 12th grade with an enrollment of 175 students. Real Life Community Outreach oversees a large regional food pantry and vocational training programs with a mission to share compassion. Our dream is to develop the Real Life Center to its full potential. This includes the development of the campus so that it offers the beauty, functionality, and security which allow our nonprofit organizations to flourish and become a welcoming and redemptive refuge for our community.

Responsibilities : Facilities Management and Security

  • Facilities Management : Supervise maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and vendor contracts; manage budgets and ensure the campus is event-ready for services, ministries, and community gatherings. Supervise Facilities Team. Collaborate with our IT company for the proper hardware and connectivity for our facilities.
  • Security Oversight : Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct risk management, coordinate with local authorities, and manage the Safety and Security Director, who supervises paid security personnel and volunteer safety team to protect staff, volunteers, and attendees.
  • Ministry Support : Collaborate with pastoral and ministry teams to align operations with church vision; promote a culture of excellence and stewardship.

Requirements :

  • 3+ years in operations and facilities management, ideally in a nonprofit or church setting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic networking.
  • Commitment to Christian values, with a heart for serving in ministry.
  • Key Results :

  • Maintain an attractive, safe, well-maintained, and organized facilities and grounds.
  • Prompt repair of all facilities, systems, and spaces to include preventative maintenance, coordinating new construction, and tenant improvements.
  • Provide visible security measures with effective responses to all incidents.
  • Administer tenant lease arrangements, invoicing, and billing in cooperation with the Director of Finance.
  • Monitor the campus calendar and delivers appropriate facilities support for all events.
  • Develop volunteerism to support campus goals.
  • Meet annual budgets and development plans.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the city, county, ensuring all real property is adhering to codes.
