Lien Negotiator - 2323117

LOCATIONS: Century City, CA

PAY RANGE: $22 - $30/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Negotiation / reduction of liens with medical providers and third-party payers upon resolution of injured party’s claim.
• Preparing client disbursement agreements.
• Compiling and tabulating all associated client costs, medical bills, and fees.
• Verifying existence of all outstanding liens and costs.
• Preparing disbursement spreadsheet showing breakdown of attorney’s fees and costs, and client’s medical bills and total recovery.
• Preparing checks for payment of bills.

Skill and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in lien negotiation/reductions is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Confidence and ability to negotiate bills
• Tech Savvy and comfortable working in a paperless environment – Microsoft Suite proficiency, Intermediate excel or experience with QuickBooks
• Good with numbers, basic math and meticulous
• Time management and attention to detail is important.
• Possess exceptional organization skills as well as effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-Starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with a CRM software such as Salesforce preferred
• Positive attitude, eagerness, and ability to learn new processes and technology.
• Ability to use copier, scanner, fax and computer.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/phone (Standing desk can be provided on request)
