• Facility is Long Term Care \n\nWhy does the job exist?\n\nIncumbent will be responsible for providing nursing care to meet the needs of the patients at one of our Long Term Care units; responsible for providing direction and guidance to CNA'S and for the implementation and direction of all nursing activities towards common hospital goals.\n\nHow does it get done?\n\nIncumbent duties will Include but not limited to administration of all types of medications to include oral and injectable for the purpose of relieving anxiety, controlling behavior and treating physical problems. Performs various treatments ordered by the physician in order to assure patient's optimal physical and mental wellbeing.\n\nWho are the customers?\n\nPatients / Residents / Clients\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nIdeal candidate will have : \n\nExperience caring for the mentally ill;\n\nExperience in providing comprehensive nursing care;\n\nExperience in administration of all types of medications.\n\nMinimum Qualification\n\nMust possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico, or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements, or eligibility for a temporary license issued for employment at a specific institution in New Mexico and three (3) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification.\n\nEmployment Requirements\n
