Food And Beverage Director
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food And Beverage Director to oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations at our prestigious private members club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in elevating member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the club
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene are consistently maintained
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and increase revenue
Event Management
Curate and execute a diverse range of food and beverage events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functionsCollaborate with the events team to create unique, memorable experiences for members and their guestsOversee menu planning, staffing, and execution of all F&B-related eventsInventory and Cost Control
Implement and maintain an effective inventory management systemMonitor and analyze food and beverage costs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure profitabilityNegotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality products at competitive pricesTeam Leadership
Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff to ensure a high-performing teamFoster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growthConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedbackMember Relations
Actively engage with club members to gather feedback and address concernsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key members and stakeholdersStay informed about member preferences and industry trends to continually improve offeringsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years in a director-level positionProven experience in curating and executing high-profile events involving food and beverageDemonstrated expertise in inventory management and cost controlStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, staff, and vendorsExcellent leadership and team-building abilitiesProficiency in F&B management software, Google & Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of wine, spirits, and current culinary trendsServSafe Manager certification and any relevant food safety qualificationsRBS CertifiedDesired Attributes
