Elementary School K- 6

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S) : In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, provides meaningful instruction in order to help students learn subject matter and / or skills for scheduled lessons. Maintains a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. Establishes effective rapport with students and manages classroom effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Classroom : Implements the instructional plans left by the classroom teacher. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives. Maintains a neat and orderly classroom. Records notes / observations for classroom teacher.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education / Experience : Bachelor's Degree required. Teacher licensure preferred.

Compensation : The daily rate for substitute teacher is $130.
