Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Huntington, Indiana. This contract role is for the upcoming school year and offers the opportunity to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a collaborative team of SLP professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech-language therapy services following a 3-to-1 service delivery model : three weeks providing direct therapy, followed by one week focused on indirect tasks.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 56 elementary students.
  • Complete necessary service logs for Medicaid reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with instructional assistants who are licensed SLPs for training on Indiana IEP software, scheduling IEP meetings, and ongoing professional support.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with the SLP team.
  • Assist with overflow evaluations as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Current Indiana teaching certification.
  • Valid Indiana SLP license.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare or school-based therapy settings is advantageous.
