This role is part of a tight-knit team focused on manufacturing quality engineering in Columbus Forge, GA with opportunities to contribute to process improvement and engineering support for production operations.

What You Will Do

Columbus Forge, a leader in disks and airfoils for aerospace propulsion, seeks dedicated individuals to join a dynamic environment and apply new ideas in practice. This position is for a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Tech based in Columbus, GA.

This is a 1st shift opportunity

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide engineering support for production operations including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis
• Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities
• Knowledge of machining techniques and processes for manufacture
• Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering drawing requirements
• Assist in electronic work instruction creation for manufacturing use
• Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering requirements
• Demonstrate commitment to EH&S and continuous improvement by complying with policies and completing required training
