About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. You will support the classroom lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. The assistant teacher will help implement the curriculum, facilitate activities, and care for the student's needs. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of early childhood development and a commitment to creating a loving environment where learning is joyful. Full-time position.

    • Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily activities and lessons.
  • Supervise and engage with students during play, instructional activities, and meals.
  • Support student's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
  • Assist in preparing and setting up materials and equipment for activities.
  • Observe and document children's progress and behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

    • Requirement

    GED Required

    Associates degree or ECE certification preferred

    Early Childhood Experience preferred

    Salary Range - $16 - $26 based on education and years of experience
