Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the service and maintenance department, providing direction and support to staff and work crews.
- Oversee estimating, scheduling, and timely execution of maintenance and repair projects across a diverse property portfolio.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with property managers, clients, and tenants regarding maintenance issues and solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess properties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and refine maintenance policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Manage departmental budgets and control expenses, promoting efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and optimize overall client satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance service offerings continuously.
Must-Have Skills :
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction services industry, particularly in service or maintenance leadership roles.Strong customer service background and proven client relationship management skills.Hands-on experience with estimating and scheduling for maintenance and construction projects.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and motivate work crews and maintenance staff.Proficiency in computer applications, including estimating and scheduling software.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience managing both residential and commercial property portfolios.Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and property compliance standards.Certification in facilities management or related field.Background in process improvement or implementation of maintenance management systems.Strong interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
