Job Title : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location : Sylmar, CA (100% Onsite – No Remote / Hybrid)

Contract Duration : 1 Year (with possibility of extension)

Pay Rate : $50–$55 / hour

Contract Type : W-2 Only (No visa sponsorships or C2C)

Position Summary :

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a fast-paced Agile team at a leading regulated medical device company . This is a 100% onsite role based in Sylmar, CA — candidates must live within one hour of the worksite due to daily onsite requirements. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leadership to drive end-to-end testing for applications that support clinical trials globally.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in test automation using C# , Selenium , or Playwright , but is also comfortable contributing to manual testing efforts using tools like Postman , JMeter , and SQL queries . You must also be able (or willing) to write test cases aligned with regulatory standards.

About the Environment :

You’ll be embedded in an Agile Scrum team developing and supporting internal and external web-based applications using modern tools and frameworks, including :

• Azure DevOps (on-prem)
