Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer EIT with a strong foundation in public works principles to join our growing team. This individual will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of public works projects, working collaboratively to produce high-quality designs that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

The functional areas and responsibilities of a Civil Engineer in Training are as follows :

Responsibilities :

• Site Design : Assist in the preparation of site development plans including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility layouts, and erosion and sediment control plans.
• Technical Calculations : Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, earthwork and volume computations, and other engineering analyses to support project designs.
• Software Applications : Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic / hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, StormCAD), and other relevant design tools.
• Regulatory Compliance : Research and apply local, state, and federal regulations and design standards.
• Project Support : Prepare permit applications, technical reports, and cost estimates.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, drafters, and other team members to execute projects efficiently.
