As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with visitors and tenants. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential threats within the property
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and / or employees with security-related concerns or inquiries
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents
  • Document all incidents, observations, and / or activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a current and valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only
