Education & Licensure
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Ohio
Current CPR / BLS certification

Objectives of the Role and Clinical Skills Required
Assess patient's oral charts
Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
Obtain digital x-rays and intra-oral photos
Perform professional cleanings to prevent and treat disease
Proficiency in periodontal assessments, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and patient education
Screen for conditions and pathology including caries, gingivitis, periodontal disease, etc.
Placement of sealants
Perform in office whitening - training provided
Familiarity with preventive, therapeutic, and educational services that support overall oral and systemic health
Work primarily from one room, but have two available, both with x-ray units
Responsibilities
Sterilize dental equipment
Communicate with patients regarding clinical concerns
Perform professional cleanings, fluoride application, sealants, and whitening
Review patient's dental history before providing dental treatment

Willingness to learn new technologies and advanced methodologies
Maintain cleanliness of your hygiene room and assist the team where needed
Preferred (but not required)
1+ years of clinical experience as an RDH (new grads welcome with mentorship mindset)
Nitrous Oxide monitoring / administration certification (CE can be provided if not currently certified)
Interest in cosmetic dentistry and patient motivation around smile goals

Flexible hours : Monday : 10am - 6pm
Tuesday : 9am - 4pm
Wednesday : 7 : 30am (soon to be 8am)- 3pm
One Saturday a month : 8am - 2pm
Adequate time for your procedures :
New patient exams : 90 minutes
Recalls : 60 minutes
