Join Farmer Brothers on the Revive™ Service and Restoration team and spend your days solving problems that keep cafes, restaurants, and workplaces brewing. As a Commercial Beverage Systems Field Technician, you will install, service, and remove coffee and beverage dispensing equipment across a defined territory while managing parts inventory and closing out every service call with thorough documentation.
A day in this role
Your morning starts at 7 : 30 am. You review the route, confirm parts on your vehicle, and head out within roughly a 100 mile radius to complete scheduled maintenance, urgent repairs, and new installs. You communicate clearly with customers, capture job details for accurate invoicing and customer sign off, and share useful feedback with your manager or partner teams. When it is your turn in the on call rotation, you also cover after hours or weekend needs to get customers back online fast. From planning and staging installs to reordering replenishment stock, you are the trusted expert on the equipment that powers their beverage programs.
Schedule and travel
- Typical schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm
- On call rotation required, including weekends
- Primary driving within about a 100 mile radius in most markets; occasional regional travel as needed
What you will do
Install, repair, and remove designated coffee and beverage dispensing equipment for a defined customer baseHandle both planned and unplanned work : preventative maintenance, emergency service, site surveys, and installationsTake part in the after hours and weekend service rotation to support urgent customer needsMaintain spare parts and equipment stock; reorder within company replenishment guidelinesComplete all required documentation, including call closure details, accurate description of work performed, and complete invoices with customer signatureAssist in planning, scheduling, and executing equipment installationsCommunicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal partnersCapture and relay customer feedback and requests to management or other departmentsAdhere to defined service level agreements for customer programsManage and prioritize tasks to meet expectations and timelinesWhat you bring
High school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of mechanical and technical experienceFoodservice background preferredExperience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test meters preferredValid driver license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel within a 100 plus mile radius of the branchStrong troubleshooting skills to diagnose equipment issuesAbility to lift up to 60 pounds frequentlyProven ability to handle both scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installsHow you work
