Job Title : CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator who is meticulous and capable of setting up and operating machines for production. The ideal candidate will assist with quality control, follow inspection procedures, and ensure machined parts meet required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and complete machine set-up sheets.
• Set up machines for production.
• Assist with quality control plan details.
• Follow first piece inspection procedures.
• Acquire parts to be machined.
• Read blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to understand production requirements.
• Machine parts to required specifications.
• Inspect machined pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Move parts to designated areas.
• Replace worn tooling as needed.
• Remove and return tooling when the job is complete.
• Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency.
• Work within OSHA and ISO standards.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.

Work Environment

The position is based in a machine shop environment that may be slightly dirty. The role operates on a 1st Shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm, with 10-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Allis, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 / hr.
